      Dear VALDIG members,

VALDIG is currently seeking applications for new members to join our esteemed Steering Committee (SC). As we continue our mission to advance research, education, and collaboration in the field of vascular liver diseases, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive committee that represents a wide range of disciplines and geographic regions.

We invite applications from individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the field of vascular liver diseases and who possess the expertise, dedication, and enthusiasm to contribute effectively to the work of VALDIG.

Members from disciplines outside hepatology are strongly encouraged to apply, as we believe that diverse perspectives enrich our discussions and outcomes.

In line with our commitment to diversity, members from countries not currently represented in the VALDIG SC will be favored in the selection process.

Please take note of the following:

      – Applicants must be current VALDIG members at the time of applying.

      – The application period will be open from April 10th to May 15th, closing at 23:59 CET

      – Applications should be sent to vihernandez@clinic.cat

      Your application should include:

A letter of motivation outlining your reasons for joining the VALDIG working group and your aspirations within the role.

      – An updated CV, not exceeding 3 pages, which should include a list of your notable publications, h-index (Scopus), and any relevant grant income received.

      Review process:

      – All applications submitted will be reviewed by the VALDIG steering committee.

      – The successful candidate will be announced to all VALDIG members during the June General Assembly, which will be held at the VALDIG meeting in Milan.

We look forward to welcoming new members to the VALDIG Steering Committee and working together to advance our shared goals.

      Sincerely,

      Virginia Hernandez-Gea

      VALDIG Chair
