Dear members of the COST Action EURO-VALDI-NET, dear VALDIG members,
We are happy to inform you we are opening a new call for 2025 Short Term Scientific Mission (STSM) Grant.
Euro-VALDI-NET invites CA-23146 Action participants with a primary affiliation to a legal entity located in
a COST Full or Cooperating Member country, a COST Near Neighbour Country or a European RTD
Organisation (i.e. intergovernmental scientific research organisations) to apply for a Short Term
Scientific Mission (STSM) Grant.
In total, 5 grants will be funded (maximum of €2100 per grant, for a maximum of 28 days).
Goal of the STSM Mobility grant
This mobility grant is intended for the applicant to visit a host organization in a different country than
the country of affiliation in order to work on a research project for a period of 5-28 days. The overall
goal of this visit is to foster network collaborations and exchange knowledge, techniques and/or skills
which benefits the EURO-VALDI-NET COST Action objectives.
Specifically, the project needs to benefit one of more of the following 2025 Grant Goals:
1. To improve medical training on Vascular Liver Disorder
2. To harmonize the collection and storage of all biological samples from patients with Vascular
Liver Disorders
3. To enhance the current communication channels and establish novel connections among
clinicians responsible for Vascular Liver Disorders
4. To increase the contributions of Researchers and Innovators from inclusiveness target countries
(ITC) and young researcher or innovator (YRIs), while safeguarding gender balance and
enhancing diversity in the Action
Grant deadline application: March 31, 2025, 23:59hr CET
Grant awarding decision: April 2025.
