45 years old female, with hemangiomas and many focal nodular hyperplasia since 2019, liver stiffness was normal but began to increase in teh last year until 11kPa, with AST and ALT 1,5 X UNL . Liver biopsy showed portal vein oclusion, incomplete fibrosis and perisinusoidal fibrosis. Thrombophilic profile showed V Leyden factor heterozigosis. Do you anticoagulate this patient? to interrupt progression ?
      Ps : without portal hypertension

      Hello,
Good question. With available data (i.e. lack of data), I would not anticoagulate this patient. Incidence of PVT in this population without sign of portal hypertension is low.
